Yet another SCS swap completed. For this swap I needed to use a button (or two-I just used one since I'm in an area that has limited button selection--1.5 hours from a craft store). I used AGAIN the swiss dot embossing folder for the border, a SU set my daughter gave me, and paper piecing for the heart.
When the button was in the store it looked like it would match the green from the paper, but once I had it on the card it's more yellow. This must be why I don't embellish more often! Such is the life of a stamper.
Here's my take on a red card swap for SCS (not sure why the photo is so dark). The pattern is the same for the lat post...I really liked the border with the swiss dot embossing.
I'm not checking for any more swaps on SCS ...not that I don't want to...because I have Bible School next week and I need to be focusing my time and thoughts in that direction.
My itinerary and travel plans for my July trip should be in the mail Monday. I'm looking forward to a few days away.
Here's another swap I'm participating in from SCS. I LOVE the way the swiss dot embossing looks on the border... OK, back to work. Five more cards to finish.
The mowing is done, the trees are trimmed, the flowers are water...and time to stamp. Here's the card I made for a 'sweet' swap at scs. I plan on putting a bit-of-honey on the inside with the stamp sentiment-bee happy.
I'm downloading the HBO series "Rome", so my connection is slooowww. Since I don't watch tv, I'm hoping it's worth watching.
