So where have I been?

Let's see, since my last post I've been to Taos, New Mexico, Israel, and Culbertson, NE (where I spend most of my waking hours teaching).

I do have a new toy, and it's been fun. After resisting the urge to get one when my daughter did, I finally broke down when a cricut expression was on sale at Ohmycrafts.com.

Let's hope I post to this blog more than once every six months. I have a school blog which has been pretty entertaining.

Latest Swap

Here's my latest and probably last swap for awhile. I'm going on vacation and when I return it will be time to start school.

And a few dat later...

Surprise...the finished product used all the materials I intended.

Because of my class I'll not be posting any cards (until the end of June) or participating in any swaps...just too busy.

OK, I know this is not what I started with, but I keep changing my mind. I think I'm going to use yellow for the base. Maybe I'll have six done by tomorrow ... maybe not :(

Before...

OK...here's how far I am. Hopefully some creative juices will kick in and give me the inspiration I need. I need two forms of embossing for this swap. Next I'll emboss flowers and see what happens...come back soon for a finished product.

It Could be this Weekend

This could be the weekend that I'm in a creative mode. I have all my 'extra' work done (except laundry), so I'm hoping to get to a few card swap projects...STAY TUNED ;)

I have been a little busy with school, Hawaii trip, and another cold. But I have made a few cards.

Digital Scrapping

Check out the scrap book pages (a few of my grandkids) I've created digitally. Fun! But it would be easier if I had everything in sight instead I'm going back & forth to see what I've downloaded and in what folder I'll locate them. Two Peas in a Bucket & Shabby Princess have been lifesavers as far as tutorials. I'm using PhotoShop Elements 6.

Any other site have good tutorials and downloads for digital scrapping?

BRRRRR...Really cold here (zero). Off to Hawaii this coming Sunday and it can't come too soon :)

In the Mood

When the mood hits...you make cards. For some reason I really like the paper and just started to create. I added some valentine wooden stickers I picked up last year at Target.

Now is the Time

Now is the time!! One card done but it won't take long to finish with the ribbon...let's just hope I have enough.

Just a couple more days of vacation and only 33% of my to-do-list is completed. The rest might have to wait until next break :) I've been very busy reading books for my classroom...completed 5- All Good. Check out my wiki 4th grade page.
