Motivated

With the grandsons here, it was motivation for me to make cards while they watched a movie in the evening.

Grandchildren are blessings one gets for getting older :)

Off to a Good Year

Another set of SCS swap cards done. I do enjoy doing this if I have the time. The paper and brads are from Hobby Lobby. The sentiments are rub-ons I've had for awhile.

Not much stamping today. I'm meeting a friend for lunch and then it's grocery shopping since there are 3 grandsons here---and boy do they eat!

Happy 2008

My Wish for You in 2008

  • May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts.
  • May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills.
  • May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
  • May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy.
  • May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ...........

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!

News Year's Resolution

It's that time to make resolutions...that one tends to break, but I'm pledging to post once a week starting in 2008.

I just finished a card (5 more to go) for a SCS swap.

Happy New Year.

It's about time!

It's about time for Christmas and me getting into the creative mood to start making cards again. My classes are done for the semester and if the weather holds out, I'll celebrate Christmas with my family this weekend, so I'll be ready to think only about crafting.

Merry Christmas

Good Grief

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've blogged. Between taking classes, being a teachers, and flitting around for the last two weekends...I've been busy. Hope to post this weekend. I have a swap I NEED to get done.

I'm Alive!

Believe it or not I'm alive. Between school, graduate classes, bookkeeping responsibilities, being a farm wife, and grandmother...I don't seem to have any time for card making. Here's a little bag I made at a SU workshop in Sept. , when I went to Omaha.

Also, I want to thank all the stamping bloggers who are going PINK.
I'm a 4 year breast cancer survivor and I appreciate all the support. It's really hard to explain how terrible it is to experience cancer.

So all I can say is THANKS!!

Thanks for Stopping By
